Start With Your Colors

Color is the first thing your stylist works out, because the right colors flatter your skin, hair and eyes before cut or fit come into it. Answer the first question here; the other 11 follow on the next page, and your season and colors appear as soon as you finish.

What Is an AI Stylist?

Stylists.ai is a free AI stylist that starts with your colors. It is for anyone who wants to know what suits them without paying for a consultant: answer 12 questions about your skin, eyes and hair, and it gives you your color season and the shades to wear. No photo needed.

An AI stylist gives you the advice a personal stylist or image consultant would: which colors suit you, what to wear them with, and what to skip. Most start from a photo or from the clothes you already own. Stylists.ai starts one step earlier, with your natural coloring, because a shirt in the right colors looks good on you before you think about its cut.

A good consultant sees things a quiz can't, and if you sit between two seasons, a draping in person is the way to settle it. An AI stylist gives you a fast, free and consistent first answer that you can check on your own face.

AI stylist vs. wardrobe and outfit apps

Wardrobe apps catalog the clothes you own and mix them into outfits. That helps once you know what suits you, but a closet of colors that wash you out only gives you more combinations of the wrong thing. Stylists.ai starts with your palette, so what you buy next works with your skin, hair and eyes.

How the AI Stylist Works

  1. Answer 12 questions

About your skin, eyes and hair. No photo, no account.

  2. Get your season and your colors

One of the 12 seasons, the reasons for it, and the colors that suit you.

  3. Wear the colors that fit you

Hold them up to your own face in the mirror, then shop with a plan.

The rules are public: read how our 12-season color method calculates your palette, borders and sources included.

Why No Photo Is Needed

  • Cameras get color wrong

Most AI color apps ask for a selfie, and a selfie is a poor witness. Indoor light tints skin yellow, a window turns it blue, and your phone's camera corrects white balance, smooths skin and lifts contrast before an app sees a single pixel. Two photos of the same face, minutes apart, can land in different seasons.

  • You already know your coloring

You have seen your own coloring in every kind of light for years. So the quiz asks about what a camera can't change: which metal flatters you, which white looks best near your face, your natural hair and eye color, and the colors people compliment you in. Fixed rules turn those answers into a season, so the same answers always give the same result.

  • More private

It is also more private. The free quiz never asks for a photo, and the draping mirror, which holds colors up to your face through your camera, runs on your device: the picture is never uploaded.

What You Get for Free

Free gives you the answer; the report gives you the plan. Your season, its reasons, your best colors and the mirror cost nothing and need no account. The report, paid once, adds the rest of your 30 colors, what to avoid and why, and makeup, hair and jewelry notes. It is the only part of Stylists.ai that uses a selfie, and only if you choose to send one.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an AI stylist?

An AI stylist is software that gives you the advice a personal stylist would: which colors suit you, what to wear them with and what to skip. Stylists.ai starts with your colors. You answer 12 questions, and it gives you your color season and the shades that flatter you, for free.

How is Stylists.ai different from a human stylist?

A human stylist or image consultant sees you in person, drapes fabric and can settle a close call between two seasons, but it is a paid, booked session. Stylists.ai is free, takes about two minutes and uses the same published rules for everyone. It is a fast first answer you can check on your own face.

How is this different from asking ChatGPT?

A chatbot will guess your season from a description, and it may guess differently each time you ask. Stylists.ai asks 12 fixed questions and turns your answers into a season by published rules, so the same answers always give the same result. You also get the colors themselves, and a mirror to check them on your face.

Do I need to upload a photo?

No. The quiz works from your answers alone. The draping mirror can use your camera, but your photo never leaves your device. Only the paid report asks for a selfie, and you choose whether to send it. That keeps your face private and avoids the lighting and camera filters that confuse photo apps.

Is the color analysis free? What do I get for $12.90?

Yes. The quiz, your season with the reasons, 6 to 8 of your best colors and the draping mirror are free, with no account. The one-time $12.90 report adds an AI read of your selfie, all 30 of your colors, what to avoid and why, and makeup, hair and jewelry notes as a PDF.

Can it tell me what clothes to wear, or only colors?

Today it starts with colors: your season, the shades that suit you and, in the report, what to avoid. Color guides every piece you buy, from shirts to coats. Body type and personal style come next, so your stylist can help with cuts and outfits too. Those parts are not live yet.

Does the AI stylist work for men?

Yes. Color seasons work the same for everyone. For men they show up mostly in shirts, knitwear, suits and ties: a Deep Winter looks sharp in charcoal, navy and pure white, while a Soft Autumn looks its best in olive and warm gray. Hair and beard color count toward your contrast.

How accurate is it?

It is a good starting point, not a final verdict. Lighting, hair color and a tan all change how colors read. The result tells you why it chose your season, and the mirror lets you check the colors on your own face. We publish our rules and claim no accuracy figures.
